Police Find 70 Pounds Of Meth, $23K In Homes Of Suspected Dealer In Santa Rosa

SANTA ROSA (BCN/CBS SF) -- A man suspected of selling methamphetamine out of two homes in Santa Rosa is behind bars, according to Santa Rosa Police.

The suspect was identified as Edgar Ortega Aguilar.

Narcotics detectives began investigating the 38-year-old Santa Rosa resident in January after they learned Aguilar was allegedly trafficking narcotics from two addresses.

Police detained Aguilar on Monday and found 70 pounds of methamphetamine in one home, and $23,000 in the second, along with drug paraphernalia.

Aguilar was booked into Sonoma County Jail on possession for sale of methamphetamine.
