No Bomb Found After Threat Closes Pleasanton School
PLEASANTON (CBS SF) -- A bomb squad found no bomb Friday morning at a Pleasanton high school after a threat emailed to the principal closed the school for the day, police said.
A bomb team, including a bomb-sniffing dog, from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office completed the search of Amador Valley High School before 11 a.m. and reopened the school at 1155 Santa Rita Road, police said.
Students and staff are allowed in the school, but classes have been canceled for the day. Classes will resume Monday.
Update: Investigation is ongoing. Nothing suspicious has been found so far. School is cancelled for the remainder of the day.

Amador Valley High School's principal Tom Drescher received the email shortly before 7 a.m., police said.
Officers evacuated students and staff and other students were told to stay home until the school was safe, police and school district officials said.
Police have not determined who sent the email and are asking anyone with information about the threat to call the police department at (925) 931-5100.
