Elderly Couple Wearing Matching Giants, Cardinals Jerseys Shows Love Conquers Baseball Allegiances
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A couple that has stayed together more than six decades despite their loyalty to separate baseball teams is melting hearts across the internet.
San Francisco Giants fan Carol Reckmeyer has been married to St. Louis Cardinals fan Warren since 1952.
They even have jerseys, that when worn together, lets everyone around them know they've stuck it out so long. Warren's Cardinals jersey reads "TOGETHER 19" and Carol's Giants jersey reads "SINCE 52."
