Petaluma Featured In New McDonald's Ad, But Not All Residents Loving It
PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- Petaluma is getting some national exposure in a new McDonald's ad, but not everybody is loving it.
The spot promotes the "egg white delight" breakfast sandwich, and features downtown Petaluma landmarks.
The ad touts Petaluma as a "quaint town...where people come together for a great sandwich."
Derek Moore tweeted that "Downtown #petaluma in this #MdConalds promo is lovely – and nowhere near the city's 2 McD's."

Some locals say it's not how they want their city represented, but others say any national publicity for Petaluma is good.
Chad Dunbar tweeted that "If you want to start a huge local debate, just let @McDonalds film a commercial in your hometown. #Petaluma is seriously arguing over this."
