Peanuts Museum To Recreate 'A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving' Feast Of Popcorn And Toast
SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) - A viewing of the cartoon 'A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving' is a holiday tradition for many, but the actual cuisine cooked up by Snoopy and company is certainly not.
The meal, consisting primarily of popcorn and toast, won't be replacing your turkey on Thanksgiving, but it could make for a fun afternoon this Saturday when it's served up at the Charles M. Schulz museum in Santa Rosa.
Curators will be screening the film continuously from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. and offering "Meal of toast, popcorn, and jelly beans from the classic television holiday special, plus visits from Snoopy himself, and hands-on crafts," according to the museum schedule.
Here's a look at how it will all get served up:
Those that bring two cans of food to donate to the local food bank will get a free child admission.
