The rain was projected to extend across a large portion of Northern California as far south as Big Sur, according to the National Weather Service. The rain totals were forecast to be low but measurable in the .1 to .2 inch range.

BART said at 10:13 a.m. Sunday trains are running at slower speeds due to wet weather.

BART officials said people should add 10 minutes to their planned travel time to factor in delays. People can check real time departures on the BART official app or bart.gov.

Any chances of rain will be gone by Monday. The beginning of the week is expected to be warmer than the rest of the following work week.
