Overturned Box Truck Cleared After Blocking 101 Near Petaluma
MARIN COUNTY (CBS SF) -- An overturned box truck has been cleared from the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 near the Marin/Sonoma County line this evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The overturned white truck was first reported at 4:17 p.m. near San Antonio Road.
The closure caused major delays for drivers headed from Sonoma to Marin County, and the CHP advised anyone headed that way to take Lakeville Highway to state Highway 37.
As of about 5:37 p.m., the truck was cleared and the road reopened, but traffic was already backed up and delays are persisting, according to the CHP.
