All Lanes Reopen After Big Rig Overturns On I-880 In Hayward
HAYWARD (CBS SF) - All lanes reopened Monday afternoon on southbound Interstate Highway 880 in Hayward after a big-rig overturned and blocked lanes for nearly two hours.
The truck overturned in a solo crash about 11:20 a.m., near State Route 92, blocking four out of five southbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two people were in the truck and one of them sustained major injuries, the CHP said.
All lanes were reopened shortly after 1 p.m.
