Oops! You Got The Wrong Chip Kelly
ORINDA, Calif. (CBS-SF) – When Orinda businessman John Chipman Kelly signed up for the Twitter handle @chipkelly, he had no idea what he was in for.
He had been called Chip by family and friends all his life so it seemed just logical to grab the social media user name.
Then Chip Kelly – the former Oregon coach who was fired this week from his job as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles -- came along.
Suddenly the posts changed from tweets from college friends to four-letter laced comments from irate Eagles fans.
"I got some unbelievable things," Kelly -- a 41-year-old executive with a Bay Area startup -- told Philly.com.
Just a quick sampling of comments from the last few months will give you an idea.
Thanks for ruining the eagles @chipkelly

The irony Charles Kelly says is that he's a New England Patriots fan.
