One person dead in crash on southbound I-880 onramp in Fremont

One person is dead in the wake of a crash that took place on an onramp to southbound Interstate 880 in Fremont Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol confirmed.

The solo vehicle crash occurred on the Auto Mall Parkway onramp around 7:36 a.m., CHP Officer Kylie Musselman said.
