UPDATE: Suspected DUI Driver Arrested After Motorcyclist Killed In San Francisco Marina District Crash
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The driver of an SUV was arrested after a collision that killed a motorcyclist in the San Francisco's Marina District late Monday night.
The crash was reported at 11:43 p.m. in the area of Richardson Avenue and Francisco Street, just south of the Palace of Fine Arts. San Francisco police said officers arrived to find a 40-year-old motorcyclist down in the roadway. He was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries.
The driver of the SUV was identified as 35-year-old Seth Pratt of San Francisco, who police said remained at the scene following the collision.
After officers gave Pratt a sobriety test, he was arrested and booked at San Francisco County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence.
