Update: Missing 12-year-old at-risk Oakland boy found safe
OAKLAND – Police in Oakland announced that an at-risk boy who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon has been found safe.
Around 4:45 p.m. Thursday, police said that 12-year-old Hector Panoj was located with the help of community and media partners.
Panjoj, 12, was last seen at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 2300 block of Park Boulevard. He was wearing a black sweater, gray jeans and red socks, and was in good mental and physical condition, according to his family.
Police did not give further details about his disappearance or how he was found.
