Update: Oakland police find missing 11-year-old girl safe

OAKLAND -- An 11-year-old girl reported missing in Oakland on Thursday has been found safe, police said.

Guadalupe Barrientos-Delgado had last been seen around 12:45 p.m. in the area of the 2300 block of East 15th Street and Oakland police later in the day asked for the public's help in finding her.

Police on Friday morning said Guadalupe was found safe but they did not elaborate on when and where she was located.
