Northbound I-680 Lanes Reopen After Crews Remove Jackknifed Big-Rig In Fremont

FREMONT (CBS SF) -- All lanes of northbound Interstate Highway 680 just north of Mission Boulevard in Fremont Tuesday morning are blocked as crews remove a jackknifed big-rig, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP issued a Sig-alert at 4:26 a.m. because all lanes were closed.

The far right lane was open, but CHP has closed all lanes again until the big-rig is towed away.

CHP officials suggest using Interstate Highway 880 as an alternate route.
