New Coffee Blend Claims Same Health Benefits Of Red Wine
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A chemist has created a new type of coffee that could offer some of the same health benefits as red wine.
Glen Miller's Vera Roasting Company infused Arabica coffee beans with resveratrol, the natural antioxidant found in the skins of grapes used in red winemaking.
The company claims that each cup of the brewed 'CoffVee' coffee provides the same amount of those antioxidants as a glass of wine.
The beans come in median Colombian, and dark French roast varieties.
