OAKLAND (CBS SF) - So your team has ended the longest NBA Finals drought going and you just got to be there to see it? I hope money is no object for you. Tickets to the first NBA championship series in Oakland is going to set you back the better part of $1,000 apiece.
The secondary ticket website StubHub lists the most affordable seat for any game at $657 for the opener next Thursday. That will get you seats in row 12 of the upper deck, behind the backboard. That's a bargain compared to the cheapest seat for a possible Game 7, where row 16 upper deck chairs are running $1,150 for the cheapest ticket in the house.
On the teams official resale partner, Ticketmaster, there was a little more inventory, and seats were slightly cheaper as of Friday afternoon. Game One seats were available for as little a $606 apiece. We should note: Ticketmaster indicated that delivery and handling were included on the transactions we checked out. Seats for the potential do-or-die Game Seven were at least $900 each.

The average price for a game as of Friday afternoon was $1,200, according to KCBS.
On Friday afternoon, the Warriors offered a special presale for fans on their email list, but those weren't much of a discount. If your fingers were fast enough to get a ticket offer, you had the option of locking in a seat for upwards of $445 ($481 after fees). Even at those prices, we weren't able to get an offer for any seats at any price by 2:01, a minute after the presale opened up to fans were not part of a special credit card promotion.
The most expensive seats offered through the team were going for $3,600 before fees.
Perhaps your best option is to fly to Cleveland, where fans were selling seats to games three, four and six for as little as $550.
