Multiple Fires Block Lanes On I-580 In Oakland
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Multiple fires along eastbound Interstate Highway 580 in Oakland blocked two lanes of traffic Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fires were reported between Park Boulevard and Fruitvale Avenue shortly after 10:15 a.m., the CHP said.
CHECK REAL-TIME TRAFFIC CONDITIONS
The CHP is looking for witnesses of the fires and urging anyone who saw anything suspicious near I-580 Saturday morning to call the CHP at (800) 835-5247.
The cause of the fires remains under investigation.
