Muggy Weather, Thunderstorms On Tap As Bay Area Sees Cooler Temperatures

(CBS SF) -- Clouds visible in Thursday's sunrise signal a change in the forecast with muggier conditions and a chance for thunderstorms across Northern California.

Mid-level altocumulus and stratus clouds clouds typically preempt rain, thunderstorms and cooler temperatures on the way.

Meanwhile, subtropical moisture to the south signals muggier conditions will pick up on Thursday.

It's not going to be as hot inland compared to Tuesday and Wednesday, but it will be on the humid side. Even with temperatures dropping slightly, KPIX Morning Anchor Roberta Gonzales says you probably won't feel much of a difference with the rising humidity.
