OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Officers arrested a motorcyclist who fled from a K9 unit in Oakland on Monday night, the California Highway Patrol said.
The suspect, a 28 year old man from Oakland, led the officers on a 20 minute pursuit after refusing to pull over for speeding on Hegenberger Road near Interstate Highway 880, according to the CHP.
The suspect tried to stop at four separate gas stations to fuel his motorcycle up during the chase, but was continually forced to flee by pursuant CHP officers, the CHP said.
After the suspect ran out of gas, a short foot pursuit ensued, ending with the suspect being subdued by a taser, according to the CHP.
The suspect was booked for a total of 5 felonies and 4 outstanding warrants, the CHP said.
