Meet The Youngest Warriors, In Their Golden State Onesies

BERKELEY (CBS SF) -- They may be too young to know about Steph Curry's amazing 3-pointers and it'll be a few years before they coo over Riley Curry's antics in the post-game news conferences, but these newborns are repping their #DubNation with the best of 'em.

Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is now clothing infants in blue and gold onesies printed with the Warriors logo thanks to a gift from Better Health East Bay.

The Sutter Health philanthropic organization wanted to make sure the newborns had the right colors for game night Tuesday.

"Families were very excited about the onesies they were given. A couple of dads were completely dressed in Warriors colors…you might say the whole place is buzzing with Warriors fever," said Carolyn Kemp with Alta Bates Summit.

And, if the Warriors are known as the loudest fans in the NBA, maybe these newborn fans' cries can just be called team spirit.

Kemp said it wasn't just the newborns in gold and blue. "Sutter Health's Alta Bates Summit employees were encouraged to show their Warriors pride by wearing team colors today. It was a terrific feeling to walk down the halls and see that many smiles sharing the same goal," Kemp said.

Over today and tomorrow each baby will receive their Warrior onesie.

Alta Bates Summit delivers about a kindergarten class a day, or more than 6,500 new Warriors fans a year. There are 90 new Warriors fans in the maternity ward right now.
