'Matrix' Movie Production Brings San Francisco Street Closures, Low-Flying Choppers on Sunday

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Streets in the Financial District in San Francisco will be closed Sunday evening for movie production filming involving helicopters flying at low altitudes from 6 p.m. to midnight, officials said.

Two helicopters will be flying at heights of 300 to 1,500 feet. Recent Twitter video captured two stunt doubles leaping off the top of one skyscraper at a dizzying 43 stories high.

In recent days, San Francisco has seen traffic diversions related to the production of a sequel to the popular "Matrix" movie franchise starring Keanu Reeves. Reeves and co-star Carrie Ann Moss have been spotted in North Beach as well as the city's Financial District.

Filming for the film in the city will continue through Sunday, March 21.
