Man Stabbed, Robbed While Walking In San Francisco Tenderloin District

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man was stabbed in the arm and robbed in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood early Monday morning, police said.

The 31-year-old victim was approached by a man and woman near Leavenworth and Geary streets at about 1 a.m. and was asked if he wanted to buy marijuana, according to police.

When the man refused, he was stabbed in the arm by one of the suspects. The pair then took the man's bag, laptop and cash and ran away, police said.

The victim gave chase but was unable to catch the suspects, who remained at large as of Monday morning, according to police.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not life-threatening, police said.
