Man Stabbed In Knife Fight In SF's SOMA

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man was stabbed before officers broke up a fight in the city's South of Market neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The officers responded at 3:22 p.m. on reports of two males fighting near the corner of Fifth and Bryant streets, police said.

One of them had a knife, and stabbed the victim in the arm, police said.

The man with the stab wound was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of his injury.

The other person was arrested, police said.
