Suspect Sought In Weekend Fatal Shooting In East Palo Alto
EAST PALO ALTO (CBS SF) -- Police in East Palo Alto are searching for a suspect after a man was fatally shot late Sunday night.
Around 10:20 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of Woodland and Clark avenues near San Franciscquito Creek, following a ShotSpotter activation. When they arrived, a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds was found.
Officers performed life-saving measures until medics arrived and he was taken to a hospital, but he died of his injuries, police said.
No suspects were identified and there was no immediate word on a motive in the shooting.
