Man Shot Dead Near SF Crocker Amazon Playground
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) -- Authorities in San Francisco say they're investigating the death of a man shot and killed near a playground and sports complex.
San Francisco Police spokesman Albie Esparza said officers were called Saturday evening to the report of a man shot near the Crocker Amazon Playground. The park features a play area for children along with soccer fields and basketball courts.
Esparza says the man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Esparza said he had no additional information on Sunday.
Investigators say they are asking for the public's help to find the shooter.
