Man Beaten, Robbed By 6 Men In South San Francisco

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man was beaten and robbed by six men just after midnight Monday after he refused to provide change for a counterfeit bill, South San Francisco police said Wednesday.

The strong-arm robbery occurred around 12:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Armour Avenue when the victim was exiting his vehicle.

The group of men were all described at Latinos in their early 20s wearing black clothing and black baseball caps with "SF" logos on them, police report.
