Leandro Barbosa Hits A Three As NBA Ref Hits Him

Trevor Peele

Leandro Barbosa was one of the multiple unsung heroes off the bench Thursday night for the Golden State Warriors as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Barbosa finished the game with 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting, without a doubt his best performance of the season.

His most shining moment came early in the second quarter as he proved to keep his composure after taking an unusual hit. The Warriors were pushing the ball in transition as Barbosa hit the brakes and stepped back into the corner for the open shot.

NBA referee Ken Mauer was trailing the players and couldn't change his direction quick enough as he bumped into Barbosa's hip and hit the floor. Barbosa then received a pass from Andre Iguodala and drained a three ball without hesitation.

Mauer was quickly helped off the floor and continued to do his job like a true warrior.
