Law Enforcement Agencies Practice Terrorism, Mall Shooting Drills Inside Hayward Shopping Center
HAYWARD (CBS SF) -- People in Hayward may see police running around into the night at Southland Mall as the FBI held a drill.
Police cruisers, SWAT vehicles, and ambulances were scattered across the mall's parking lot Thursday night as law enforcement agencies practiced exercises inside.
The drill simulated a shooting, or terrorist attack inside the mall.
The drill was expected to last until 3 a.m.
