(KPIX 5 / KBCW NIGHTBEAT) -- Getting a jump on tomorrow: "Shrimp Boy" returns to a San Francisco courtroom.

Raymond Chow and his attorney, who is known for outrageous press conferences, will appear in front of a federal judge on Thursday morning. The hearing starts at 10 a.m.

If you hear some loud buzzing in the skies over Hayward Thursday morning, take a second to look up. Nearly 30 pilots will take off in rapid succession for the 50th annual Hayward Air Rally. The event is the longest of its kind and will test the pilots' skills as they fly to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Takeoff is set for 8 a.m.

At 10:30 a.m. in Oakland, Children's Fairyland will host a citywide "Baby Shower." It's part of a new Oakland campaign to boost the vocabulary of children.

If you want to go to a ballgame Thursday evening, but don't want to pay big league prices, how about a Little League game? The Pacifica American Little League All-Star Team wants to represent Northern California at the West region tournament in Southern California. Their first game is at 5:30 p.m. at Cambrian Park in San Jose.
