HEALDSBURG — A suspected drunken driver was arrested Monday morning after his pickup truck and camper overturned on U.S. Highway 101 in Healdsburg, authorities said.

The wreck was reported at about 9:40 a.m. on southbound 101, where a 78-year-old Cloverdale man was driving a Dodge Ram and towing a camper, California Highway Patrol Officer David deRutte said.

He was allegedly passing another vehicle when he lost control, and the truck and camper overturned on the freeway just south of Lytton Springs Road.

The driver was the only person in the truck and was not injured, deRutte said.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Southbound freeway lanes were closed after the wreck but reopened about two hours later.
