Injury Accident Snarls Eastbound I-80 Traffic In Vallejo
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- An overturn injury accident on eastbound I-80 in Vallejo shut down all lanes for a time, creating a massive traffic jam in Contra Costa County.
According to authorities, the major injury collision happened shortly before 3 p.m. just east of Pomona Street. Response by emergency vehicles has closed all eastbound lanes of the freeway.
As of about 3:45 p.m., CHP were able to open all lanes, but said drivers should expect residual delays from the incident.
