Highway 1 From Muir Beach To Muir Woods Closed Due To Road Collapse
MARIN COUNTY (CBS SF) -- A section of State Highway 1 in Marin County has collapsed, forcing the closure of all southbound lanes from Muir Beach to Muir Woods Road according to the California Highway Patrol.
A severe traffic alert has been issued for the area and drivers are being warned to avoid the area and expect delays.
The collapsed section of roadway is not expected to reopen until March, officials said.
