High Surf And Coastal Flooding Advisory Issued For Bay Area
MONTEREY (CBS SF) -- The National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory Saturday for parts of the Bay Area.
The advisory is in effect until 3 p.m. today and includes the North Bay coastal areas.
Large surf combined with an increasing high tide may result in some coastal flooding this morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Large breaking waves along the coast will likely produce hazardous conditions on the beach and in the surf zone, NWS officials said.
There is also an increased likelihood for dangerous rip currents and erosion, according to NWS officials.
Waves could reach up 15 to 18 feet, and breakers of bigger than 25 feet are possible, NWS officials said.
