Head-On Crash Snarls Highway 92 Traffic Near Belmont
BELMONT (CBS SF) -- All lanes of state Highway 92 near Belmont have reopened Sunday afternoon, following a head-on collision.
The collision was first reported at 1:58 p.m. on the highway, near the southbound Interstate Highway 280 connector in unincorporated San Mateo County, according to CHP officials.
The collision was initially reported as a head-on collision, however, at least three vehicles were involved, CHP officials said.
KCBS Traffic: Current Road Conditions
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the CHP.
The collision was blocking both the east and westbound lanes of the highway, causing CHP officers to issue a Sig-alert for both directions of Highway 92.
