HAYWARD (CBS SF) -- A brush fire next to Interstate 880 in Hayward has prompted the closure of a number of lanes and backed up traffic in the area.
The fire was burning vegetation at the Industrial Ave. exit off of southbound I-880.
The California Highway Patrol said the Tennyson St. onramp to southbound I-880 was closed as well as a least three lanes along the shoulder.
