Hawaiian Man Snowboards On Tropical Island Peak After Snowstorm, Record Lows

MAUNA KEA, HAWAII (CBS SF) -- Signs of a weird winter continue. Yes, Hawaii gets snow, and yes, as you can now see in video, you can indeed snowboard on it.

Temperatures reached their coldest in 122 years last week as arctic air blasted clear down to Hawaii, plunging Honolulu into a frosty 57 degrees on January 5th.

That same day, bodyboarder Willy Petrovic posted this video a the peak of Keck Observatory in Mauna Kea, on the Big Island.
