Gunman Kidnaps 7-Year-Old Girl From Her Driveway In Antioch

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- The kidnapping of a 7-year-old girl in Antioch has prompted the California Highway Patrol to issue an Amber Alert tonight for Alameda, Contra Costa, Sacramento, Solano and San Joaquin counties.

The girl, identified as Natalie Calvo, is Asian, stands 3 feet tall, weighs 54 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a neon pink scarf and jacket, gray jeans-style leggings, brown boots and was wearing her hair in a ponytail.

Police say the girl is was kidnapped from her home in the 3800 block of Hummingbird Drive Friday by a suspect driving a gold 90s Toyota Camry, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Police say the suspect, along with a second man, followed the girl and her mother as they drove home from Walmart, pulled a rifle on the pair in the driveway, grabbed the girl and sped off.

Police say two similar abduction attempts happened on Thursday.

The suspect has been described as a Filipino man between 40 and 50 years old wearing a black beanie possibly armed with a black rifle, the CHP said.

Anyone with information about her disappearance has been asked to call Antioch police at (925) 778-2441.
