Fremont Police Seeking Female Burglary Suspect Seen Pushing Stroller On Surveillance Footage

FREMONT (CBS SF) -- Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a female burglary suspect pushing a baby stroller who was caught on surveillance video.

According to Fremont police, the suspect was caught on video entering a home around 1 a.m. Dec. 16 in the 2000 block of Dorne Place.

Police said the footage showed the suspect approaching the home with a baby stroller before entering through an unlocked door. The suspect wandered through the home and garage before exiting around 1:35 a.m. with a purse belonging to the victim.

The suspect is described by police as a thin woman between the ages of 30 and 40 with dark hair in a straggly ponytail. She was last seen wearing a white hip-length jacket, loose pants and tennis shoes with reflective patches and was pushing a stroller with a folded shopping cart on top.
