Fremont Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Trio In Hardware Store Burglary
FREMONT (CBS SF) -- Fremont police are asking for the public's help in identifying three men who burglarized a hardware store last month.
On May 28, officers responded to a report of a commercial burglary at Dale Hardware in the 37100 block of Post Street around 4:30 p.m., police said.
The men entered the store and left with two generators each valued at $1,000, according to police.
The men fled in a waiting vehicle last seen heading east on Thornton Avenue, police said.
All three men are described as white and in their mid 20s, according to police.
The first suspect stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a green Oakland A's hat with a yellow bill, a black shirt, blue shorts and black and white shoes.
The second suspect stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing sunglasses, a gray hat with an unknown logo on the front, black shirt and possibly blue jeans at the time of the burglary.
The third suspect stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a heavy build and light facial hair. He was seen in video surveillance footage wearing a black and white shirt.
They fled in a white early to mid-1990s lowered Chevrolet pickup truck with a single cab, short bed, white rims and trailer hitch attached to the bumper.
