Former President Clinton Campaigns In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Former President Bill Clinton was in San Francisco Tuesday at a fundraiser for his wife's presidential campaign.
The time and location of the San Francisco fundraiser was not disclosed except for the people who paid between $250 and $2,700 to attend. His Secret Service motorcade pulled into Leidesdorff St. between Pine and California, where President Clinton then entered a side entrance of the Merchants Exchange Building.
He was also seen campaigning for votes at Washington Bakery in Chinatown.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was campaigning in California as well, but won't return to Northern California until Wednesday, when she will attend an organizing event in Salinas.
Doors will open at the Salinas event at noon at Hartnell College, located at 411 Central Ave.
On Thursday, she will attend another organizing event in San Jose. Doors will open at that event at 11:30 a.m. in Parkside Hall at 180 Park Ave.
Hillary Clinton was previously in Oakland earlier this month, when she gave a campaign speech at La Escuelita Elementary School on May 6.
