Fire Crews Quickly Contain 2-Alarm Fire On Grizzly Peak
ORINDA (CBS SF) -- Firefighters were quickly able to contain a two-alarm grass fire on Grizzly Peak, an Oakland fire dispatcher said.
The fire was reported in the area of Fish Ranch Road and Grizzly Peak at 4:25 p.m., and appears to be near Orinda and Moraga.
The area is particularly fire-prone, but crews said the fire's forward progress had been stopped as of 5:18 p.m.
There have been no injuries or property loss, according to the Berkeley Police Department.
Fish Ranch Road, Claremont Road and Centennial Road were all closed as crews worked to contain the fire.
