Crews contain wind-driven, 3-alarm fire in Bay Point
BAY POINT -- Firefighters battled a three-alarm fire in Bay Point late Thursday afternoon that involved several structures, automobiles and a mix of vegetation along Willow Pass Road.
A spokesperson for the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said firefighters knocked down the fire, which was first reported at approximately 4:45 p.m.
Willow Pass Road and several adjacent streets are closed.
Firefighters remained on scene for several hours.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
