Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On Interstate 880 In San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Interstate 880 in San Leandro Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 4:05 p.m. just south of Davis St. and involved the motorcycle and an SUV.
All northbound traffic was diverted off at the Davis St. exit. for a time. Just before 5:00 p.m., at least one northbound lane had been reopened.
Big rigs were being allowed to use westbound Interstate 580 as an alternate route.
All northbound lanes were reopened by about 6:00 p.m.
