Fatal I-280 Crash Closes Hwy 101 Connector In SF For Nearly 2 Hours

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- All lanes are open on Interstate Highway 280 in San Francisco Saturday morning after a fatal crash involving a pedestrian, according to the CHP.

The crash was reported around 5:50 a.m. on northbound Highway 280 at the southbound U.S. Highway 101 connector. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP.

A Sig-alert was issued at 6:07 a.m. when officers closed the connector between the two highways. All lanes were reported clear by 7:52 a.m., according to the CHP.

Further details about the crash and the victim were not immediately available.
