3.2 magnitude earthquake hits near Gilroy early Sunday

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck Santa Clara County on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.  

The quake was recorded at 2:25 a.m. near Gilroy, Calif. 

The earthquake's epicenter was about 4 miles southwest of Gilroy with a depth of about 5 kilometers, or about 3 miles.  

There were no power or gas outages in the area following the quake, according to PG&E's live outage map.
