'Droopy Face Bandit' Responsible For 10 San Francisco Bank Robberies, FBI Says
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The FBI is offering a reward for a bank robbery suspect they are calling the Droopy Face Bandit after a string of as many as ten robberies in San Francisco since 2007.
According to the FBI's Wanted poster, the suspect is described as being five feet, three inches to five feet, seven inches tall with a very small build, and droopy cheeks.
The suspect is said to have flashed a gun during some of the robberies.
The suspect has targeted banks in San Francisco neighborhoods that are predominantly Asian, including the Chinatown and Clement Street areas, demanding money from tellers with a note.
The most recent robbery occurred on September 16, 2015 on Clement Street at the East West Bank.
There is a $5,000 reward being offered for information leading to the suspect's capture.
