Update: Arrest made in fatal Concord mall shooting; Second suspect still at large

CONCORD -- A 19-year-old Martinez man has been arrested and a second suspect remained at large Wednesday after a Concord mall shooting left one man dead and a second hospitalized.

Concord police said Haley Sparks Hadsell was arrested and jailed for homicide on Tuesday night. The second suspect in the case -- 20-year-old Sione "Ono" Amanaki -- was as at large and is the subject of a Bay-wide search.

"Amanaki knows he is wanted and may be hiding out in the city of Oakland," Concord detectives said in a Facebook post.

 The shooting took place at around 9:48 a.m. in the shopping mall near Solano Way and Broadmoor Ave. 

Concord Police said when officers arrived at the scene, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital.

The victims were not identified.
