Disney/Lucasfilm Release An International Preview for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Star Wars: The Force Awakens does not open in theaters until the end of the year, but the hype over the seventh installment keeps growing. Just days before the biggest Disney convention opens in Anaheim, San Francisco-based Lucasfilm has released the international television teaser preview in South Korea.

Most of the :30 second preview consists of shots seen in previous trailers for the film. With the exception of the opening shot of a large battlion standing at attention with on top a snowy and rocky landcape. Internet speculation says that the army may be a group called "The First Order."

The film stars Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong and Miltos Yerolemou, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac. It also marks the return of original series actors Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.

"Star War: The Force Awakens" opens in theaters December 18, 2015.
