Departing SFO Flight Forced To Land In San Jose

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Passengers on a San Francisco-to-Los Angeles flight hardly had time to settle into their seats Friday before the plane was forced to make a landing in San Jose.

American Airlines spokesman Matt Miller said Flight 169 had departed from San Francisco International Airport at 5:57 a.m. on its way to Los Angeles International Airport when the captain got an indication of a pressurization issue.

A maintenance team worked on the problem and the flight was expected to complete its journey later in the morning.
