Dense Fog Advisories Issued For Bay Area Bridges
(CBS SF) -- The California Highway Patrol has issued dense fog advisories for a number of Bay Area bridges and on U.S. Highway 101 Friday morning.
Area bridges shrouded in fog this morning include the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate, San Mateo and Carquinez bridges, according to the CHP.
Patchy, thick fog and low visibility were also reported on Highway 101 in San Francisco and the Peninsula this morning and is expected to last until around 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with caution in the fog.
